famous Chinese composer and guqin player

In his novel Prabhūtaratna Yu Hsi combines the language of poetry and lyrical essay, in order to narrate an exquisite and deeply touching story. He makes use of many characters and subplots that all convey symbolic meaning to herald the Buddhist understanding of and insight into the boundless universe. Moreover, drawing on the seven elements that together form the sentient world – earth, water, fire, wind, space, perception and consciousness, he leads us back to the realization of Truth (Tathagatagarbha) upon which we reach the Peak Condition where the “truth and beauty coexist”.
